Coppolella wants to know what’s on minds of Braves’ fans (oops)

The Braves apparently are going to make a concerted effort to reconnect with their fan base. That’s not surprising considering the roster blowout of the last one and a half years and the Cobb County stadium deal has left many feeling less than enamored of the organization, especially after finishing 67-95 last season, the team’s worst record in 25 years.

But seeking feedback from the public can be perilous. Especially on Twitter.

Just after 5 p.m. Wednesday night, the Braves’ Twitter account sent out a Tweet announcing that general manager John Coppolella would answer questions at 3 p.m. Thursday. Fans were asked to use the hashtag #AskCoppy.

You know where this is going.

While, to this point, there have been some legitimate questions about the Braves’ roster building strategy and the team’s future, “Coppy” also has been under assault to some degree.

One example:

Here are some others that have flowed in to this point:

Doesn't appear to be a lot of power at third base either. John move quickly before training camp. You have plenty of arms to move

Think it's time to go after some outfield bats, example Charlie Blackmond with the Rockies. They will do very little with their present outfield and their total of fence.

Social media can be interesting to say the least.

Fredi G is still around to take the hit for the failure of this coming years team.  They will try to scapegoat him as the reason they lost 100 + games and get a new manager to lead us when they move to Cobb.

Why are Fredi G and Bobby Cox still around?

Ask him if he'll be shuttling people through the inevitable nightmare traffic their new stadium is going to cause.

I wonder what nimrod in the Braves front office thought THAT was a good idea? Looks like the vast majority that tweeted had to take time out from watching Judge Judy or Jerry Springer to do so.

Why don't you trade Freddie Freeman so he can play for a real team?

Should John C. do a redo like Hillary or Jeb?  How about Coppy Can Fix This.  Maybe he can hire Jeb Bush's PR Firm.  Hear they will soon be out of work.

I don't know what's dumber (That ain't brave, son. That's dumb.)  That he would do that or the "Comfort" Turkey that Delta allowed on their plane.
